Thanks for that Foggy. They're not connected as far as I am aware, but they all seem to be linked together in some way! 7 years after??? Blimey, that'll be 2017, so they will hate me til then, and I will have been 'punished' for young stupidity for 12 years :( Bad times! I am looking at going with a...

Just browsing the thread, and this is very interesting! I just had an application turned down as somehow they found that I had an IVA in the past (I completed it in 2010 so it should be well gone by now!) Anyone know where they would have seen a record of this? Nothing showing on Equifax or Experian...

Hi beccy Seems they make a habit of this! I had to dig out bank statements from 2005 to prove I made a payment on acceptance date, and emailed them a table of payments to show I had made 60 payments. They didn't seem to understand at 1st, but I persevered, and they finally accepted my maths! While I...

I got a coldcall on my mobile yesterday, from some finance company. He had all the speil, told me he was authorised by the government to 'write off my debts and arrears'. As I was on my break, I humoured him for a bit, and told him quite truthfully that I had no arrears or debts, and to remove me fr...

We were all in the same boat at some point Paula, I remember it like yesterday! I went on a cleaning and DIY mission when I was waiting! Like the others say, your IP wouldn't have put your offer forward if they weren't confident about acceptance. Use the forum for support, one of us is always around...

Not sure about this, but one of the professionals will be along soon with some answers.

Take it your both having some issues with your firms, have you spoken to your IP, or office staff?

Great news both of you!

Michelle, just call your IP firm and they'll let you know what you need to do.

I treated myself on the 1st month, saved the 2nd, booked a holiday with the 3rd :)

Now its a bit of both, and no credit in sight 5 months on.
