What I meant is unethical is considering a small redundancy package (ie: £3000) windfall is unethical.
How can you live "a few months" on part of £3000?

I find it unethical that your IP wants a portion of your tiny redundancy package. It's plain wrong. There should be some provisions in the IVA agreements to prevent such measures.

how would they even know if you won the lottery anyway?? [:D]

I think the good and bad thing with Grant Thornton is that on one hand they're very good because of how big they are but on the other hand everything takes longer because of the volume they deal with. That's the impression I'm getting.

ok, I completed my IVA 4 weeks ago(through Grant Thornton) but I still haven't received the Certificate of Completion. I'm reading all sorts of estimates in different places (from "a few days" to "a couple of weeks" to "2-3 months"), what is the realistic processing time for this certificate? thank ...
