Hi all My variation was accepted this morning which is fantastic. I actually feel a bit numb at the moment but am sure it will all hit me later! I offered a full and final offer of £0.47 in £ against the original proposal which offered £0.46. My mum provided me with a lump sum from an inheritance so...

Hi I have my IVA with Accuma. Have offered a full and final offer and my IP has said its a really good offer which has taken at least 3 weeks to happen. I have sent everything I have been asked for but now I'm told it's with their variations team but they wont put a timescale on how long it will tak...

Thanks Kerri, Also my October payment is due on 15th and is included in my F and F amount. If this process goes on a bit longer should I still make my November payment as this was not included in the F and F offer? Just wondering when I start paying my mum back. It could be November (but maybe hold ...

No they weren't included although given what Andy has said that's probably because my agreed dividend to creditors is only £0.46 in £. Do you know how long it ususally takes to arrange a creditors meeting? Feels a bit like waiting for the IVA approval first time around now eek! Also have supplied wa...

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Have only sent in the documentation so hopefully the formal proposal will be drawn up soon assuming they think it's reasonable and it's good to hear the positive feedback. I do think especially given my Student Loans situation they would be crazy to say no but will ...

Hi All Well after advice from this forum I have finally offered a full and final settlement to my IP although they would not advise a settlement figure and are not very reassuring about possible acceptance. I have offered £30643 against outstanding IVA contributions of £33600. (I'm assuming a fees d...

Hi
I was wondering once an IVA is complete how long do you stay on the register for. Also once it drops off your credit file is there anyway anyone can tell you were once insolvent.
Worried about lifetime stigma

Hi All I was hoping for a bit of advice. My IVA was approved in February and so far I have made 4 payments. I pay £643 per month and have 56 payments left to go so about £36000. (this represents £0.46 p in £ to creditors) Unfortunately my mums brother died suddenly a couple of weeks ago and my mum d...

Melanie thank you as always. It really is a strange one because a 2.4% rise would be fine but 3% takes me over the limit. Will talk to Accuma Monday, they should be ringing me back.

I think I owe about £8500. I suppose I could talk to my mgr and not accept the pay rise.........? (just because the extra amount of money leaving my salary would make the IVA prohibative)

Hi Melanie Thanks for your response. They were aware of my salary and aware of the repayment threshold. I didn't make it explicit that I would get a payrise but inflationary payrises are assumed are they not? Anyway I suppose thats by the wayside now. If a variation meeting is held and I just strugg...
