I think (could be wrong) the approach varies from IP to IP and also depends on how much is being offered as a F&F offer. I am somewhere in the F&F process at the moment, having already provided a letter from myself and a letter from my family member confirming the offer. That was provided to my IP t...

Thanks Michael, My IP has come back to me today and essentially : 1) My normal monthly payments from the end of this month onwards are over £55 a month higher than what I am certain I was advised by my IP after my recent annual review. 2) My IP refers in the email to a 4 month extension to cover my ...

I find myself able to offer a F&F on my IVA as my parents have kindly offered to gift me some money following receipt of an inheritance. I know the usual basic calculation for a F&F is monthly payment multiplied by monthly payments remaining. In my case when I originally entered into my IVA my month...

I'm not complaining, but it's hardly fair that (in theory) if two people had the same agreement, and one got a pay rise 2 months after their annual review and the other got a pay rise a month before their annual review, the former would benefit from 100% of that pay rise for 10 months (until their a...

Thanks all. So basically if you get a pay rise two months after your annual review than you keep 100% of that, and only pay the 50% surplus a month after your next annual review, but if you get a pay rise at the same time as your annual review then your IP will immediately take 50% ? - hardly seems ...

I've been in an IVA with Payplan since August 2009. My Chairman's Report states that : "the supervisor is required to review the debtor's income and expenditure once in every twelve months by reference to latest form P60, pay slips and proof of increase in any expenditure. The debtor will be require...

Thanks to you both, I had presumed that essentially my IP had 'full control' and did not need to obtain any agreement from my creditors given that my dividend is already significantly higher than when I first entered my IVA, but as you say the matter needs to be fully reviewed so I'll take this up a...

Never tried changing my mobile provider whilst in my IVA (although have changed my package without any problems) but did try to move my home phone package across to my current mobile provider, only for that to fall through as unsurprisingly I failed the credit check (didn't think they run one but th...

Hmm, well if you read my recent thread just below this one I found the first half of my IVA relatively 'comfortable', but the last 18 months have been a huge struggle and I've found my IP far more 'demanding' in terms of level of monthly payments etc. than it was in the early days.

Thanks, I've always had a good relationship with my IP but now I look at these figures and it infuriates me. Broadly speaking I can accept the increased payments last financial year were to cover the shortfall resulting from me having to miss one monthly payment when I had to pay for some repairs/ex...
