I got a Santander credit card!

Still waiting on my IVA being finalised, but I got a £500 limit. Will just use it for fuel and pay off in full every month.

We got that letter too. EIC and GT are utterly useless. There is no communication between them or to me about the PPI. I have absolutely no idea if I have any due as they don't actually bother telling me anything.

I am in the same boat with GT. However, they have said they will give me 2 weeks to sort any outstanding PPI (of which I have absolutely no idea about as EIC do not contact me). If no further communication, then they will process my completion.

The bane of my life!! EIC ring at least daily and send letter after letter.

I signed the waiver 18 months ago and it is still rambling on. I honestly wish I had never bothered as I am getting as much hassle from them as from the creditors before signing up to the IVA!!

Well my only other option was bankrupcy and it that happened i would have lost my job and would never be able to practice again in my field. So it was a no-brainer really. I would have signed anything

I could have been signing the Magna Carta at the time and I would still have been none the wiser. I have never sat in the same room as my IP or even spoken to him directly. My communication comprises of letters, emails and the odd phone call. With respect, IPs do this for a living. You have qualific...

Can take a month for an email response, which I think is ridiculous. They also tend to ignore your actual query most of the time as well

Sorry to hear about your son. We are in the same situation, but have not approached our IP so unfortunately I cannot offer any advice. We have been blessed to have wishes granted through Ray of Sunshine and Make a Wish, so our wee girl has had experiences we could never afford to give her.

Im in the same boat. I work on call and do quite a lot of overtime (97 hours last month). My IVA payments were worked out using 'guaranteed overtime', even though i explained to my IP that it was not guaranteed and the trust want to get rid of it.

The standard wait is at least 4 weeks for an email. I send my paycheck in every month to calculate any overtime and im usually into the next month by the time i get a reply. Absolute nightmare fir budgeting. They never reply to specific questions and its a nightmare trying to actually get through to...

I haven't looked at the documents in 5 years, so apologies for the sketchy reply. The document states "Receipt of sums in lieu of equity. If i am unable to procure any nee mortgage facilities, this will not be viewed as a failure to comply with the terms of the arrangement and my supervisor will hav...

Sorry i didnt explain that very well. Its a 60 month ivs with an extra 12 months if no equity can be released from the property. So 72 months in total. We took a 3 month payment break 2 years ago when our central heating system packed in during that bad cold snap, so it will be 75 months in total ac...

Thanks for the advice. Its a quandary for me. Melanie, my IVA is 6 years plus additional year as no equity in property. I will go back to GT yet again and see if I can get any assistance from them.
