Obviously I'm having the same problem. Only reply I had was from a letter I sent and took Clearstart 4 weeks to reply to. They are crap!!

We have the deposit and mortgage sorted. Had a letter from IP saying mortgages were viewed as credit and therefore I couldn't have one but was told before starting IVA that mortgages were fine as they were secured against house. Now my IP will not return any of my calls.

I had to have my credit check done prior to my most recent rental and was told it was down to my future landlord whether or not I could have the flat. I don't think they are that bothered as long as they get their rent and your references have come back ok.

Expenses will be pretty much identical to now so IVA payments should be unchanged. Have tried contacting Clearstart all week and my ip will not return my calls and i cannot get transferred to him or any other IP.

Parents and boyfriend are paying deposit. Mortgage been ok'd by mortgage company.

I cannot contact my IP at Clearstart or anyother IP. Despite numerous messages being left for any supervisor to call me. Anyone else having any issues with Clearstart?

If there is a clause in IVA contract stating no credit and the IVA company tells you that mortgages are viewed as credit but a mortgage is obtained and a house bought, what can the IVA company do?

That's what I don't understand, Why he can object to it. He's never replied to any letters sent, except this last one which has taken him 4 weeks. And has at least 15 message asking him to call me. I understand the not having credit cards and loans but was told that a mortgage was viewed differently...

Its through Clearstart. My major concern when getting an IVA was the ability to get a mortgage and now i have been told that it is 'deemed as gaining credit' and going against terms of IVA.
