We are currently going through the process of an IVA - creditors meeting yet to be arranged but should be anytime soon. However, this morning my Husbands work have put him into a consultation period with redundancy very likely at the end of the consultation period - although his company are saying n...

We decided to go for an IVA about 6 weeks ago. We have contacted 3 different companies - the first were not for us, the second were ok - but have still not come back to us 3 weeks later about whether we have a case or not. The third sounded extremely promising - but now we have not heard from them f...

I have just initiated contact with melanie following the advice on this forum. My first call was to Freeman Jones who sound very much like you describe - they took over a thousand pounds out of my account last Wednesday before I had even signed or returned anything to them. They were then extremely ...

Thank you everybody. You all speak very highly of Melanie so I would be daft not too! I just feel really out of control of everything at the moment and feel like I should be doing more. It's like I'm sat here allowing defaults to happen - following the initial advice I have been given. For months an...

The call was booked for lunchtime, but ~I did not get a lunch time that day after all! The best time to get hold of me would be after 8pm once I have got home and the children are in bed.
May I ask - who is Andy Davie and where can I find his details?
Many Thanks

Melanie - please call me! It is really very difficult for me to talk during the day as I manage a team and do not allow them to take personal calls. To be honest - my considering a company has been purely convenience. I missed an arranged call from Melanie last week for exactly the above reason and ...

We are not signed up - just went though the initial lengthy phone call and it has now been left at that. I had been expecting a call or at least something in the post by now.

We have now been in touch with a couple of companies - we have totally dismissed the first one as they were very sales like and did not explain anything at all well. Our second choice of IP seemed a lot better - they have spent a lot of time explaining things to us over the phone... but we have not ...

I am including a quick quid loan in IVA. I'm pretty sure they are the same type of company and I have been advised it is ok. As I found them on the web - i thought they may be some kind of loan shark and got really worried. However - have also been advised that they are recognised companies - just o...

Sincere thanks to all who have posted a reply to my many rambling posts over the weekend! I feel so much better about everything now. I still haven't anything confirmed - i think that is a long way off yet, but I realise now it is not the end of the world and there are options out there for me. On T...

No - a DMP was what I had hoped for, but they said IVA was best bet. I will be in touch melanie - and will hold fire signing anything until then! Thank you
