We're seriously considering an IVA as our main route to control our debt. Although some companies have told us that our situation is too dire, and others have said that we fit the typical requirements. Can anyone recommend a company that will give good advice and help. I have an unsecured loan on top of my mortgage with northern rock for £22459, which is approximately a third of our debt. We have been told that their policy has changed and because it was taken out in sept 2004, it should be accepted in the IVA is this true?
