I too have just completed, last week, so all this debt free malarkey is very new to me.......at 44 years old I think this is the first time in my adult life that I've not actually owed any money!!! I too like someone above said can remember coming in here and feeling envious of those that were finis...

Thank you every one. I kept looking at the certificate yesterday just to keep reminding myself it was real! I also wanted to say thank you to this forum...although I didn't always post, I often read posts and found the advise invaluable...certainly at the beginning when as we all know it can be very...

Well today I opened my post to find a Completion Certificate and a letter stating we are now fully discharged from all our debts. That was one letter I never thought I'd see. We did a F&F offer last May after 4 long years, and it was accepted, then course we then had the PPI to go through. I would l...

We're still waiting for hubby's wages to go in from Friday.....no sign of them yet, and when I spoke to Natwest they say at least Monday afternoon.....we have direct debits getting returned left right and centre! Like many others we live from week to week, as my monthly salary goes on mortgage etc.....

Ours was £130k between us......I think that is the first time I've actually written down how much it is....not something I'm proud of....but I'm proud that I did something about it, and got our F&F accepted last month. It's hard to believe you can get into that much debt....it can so easily run away...

Hi Flynn I had mine accepted at the end of May......they sent me a letter with all the confirmation,, we then sent the cheque off to them. Weve had confirmation that they've received that...now we have to wait for the completion certificate, but they've told me that may take time due to the VAT issu...

We have a basic Lloyds Account...no overdraft, debit card etc...but the really annoying thing is you can on, get money from a Lloyds cashpoint. I tried upgrading the other day online as we had our F&F accepted, so thought it time to make some changes...and it was refused. Maybe I should try ringing ...

Being a Portsmouth fan, I'm glad the HMRC didn't make an example out of us....I agree that it is the fans that suffer, and those poor small business's that don't get paid. We are still in dire trouble, and I hope us and Rangers manage to sort something out...and that there is a stop to this sort of ...

I found this forum as I was going through the IVA process...so had already picked McCambridge Duffy....and like herbekj says, it is good to see so many positive posts about them in here, along with their own experts. I have just had a F&F accepted, so I am extremely happy that I did make the choice ...

Nice to see it written down in black and white! So our cheque is being sent off to McC D tonight. They have advised us due to VAT that completions are taking longer than they'd like, but to be honest although I do want to see that certificate, I am not going to worry about it...just get on with enjo...
