Hello, I have a question about PPI (*sigh*) My IVA completed in July 2013 and I soon after received my completion certificate - great I thought, no more payments and now I'm free to start over! :-D ... then the PPI reclaiming started albeit with some success. This is still ongoing over 2 years later...

Congrats!

I had a ppi payment from Barclays, but I was told not to bank the cheque and all of it needs to be paid to the IP/creditors!

I've not seen a penny of it! :-(

Enjoy the money :)

Hi, For anyone who has received this letter out of the blue asking you to call them, I would ignore it as they are a marketing company! I found a company number on their website, did a little digging and found this: https://companycheck.co.uk/company/08818469/MERISIS-MARKETING-LTD/summary. Their web...

Hello, I recently completed my IVA in July this year and checked my credit report with Experian. I purchased my Credit Score and it showed "409", which was "Good." My IVA was removed from the insolvency register too, which was great, or so I thought! I recently tried to apply for a mortgage in princ...

After approx 6 years (in total) of being in my IVA, today I received my completion certificate. My IVA officially ended last July (2012) so I have been waiting about a year for it, but interestingly, I called Grant Thornton twice to complain as to why I hadn't received it so maybe that helped. Maybe...

PPI 2nd letter update from GT: Just to let everyone know, and for anyone who has received this letter recently, I passed it on to our company lawyer to have a look at the other day as I wasn't sure whether to agree to GT's "proposed changes to the terms," but after reading it he said was OK :D The "...

Hi kst101, It's been about 7 months since I made my last payment and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight what with all the PPI reclaiming going on; I've heard nothing from EIC and don't know if they have managed to recover any monies?! Did you have to pay GT £50 for the meeting?? Regards, Rick.

Without prejudice: I finished my IVA last June (2012) and still have not had my completion certificate (there's a shocker!), but have since agreed for GT to investigate any mis-selling of PPI, which has delayed the closure of my IVA! I thought all was well, until I received another letter from GT on...

Hello to all. I finished my IVA in July 2012 and have neer missed a payment, which I am proud of, but just when I think it's over, I have been contacted by a company called EIC (Expert Insolvency Claims) who tell me they have found 10 claims of unfair charges/ppi etc and require me to 'waive all my ...

Perhaps Mr Wilkinson is inundating with reviews so maybe this is why it's taking a long time!
