GE Money, just reading the name makes me go cold.
They were our most persistent if not to say nastiest creditor prior to our iva.
Phone calls at work etc, very nasty edge to them.

I know i shouldn't, but i'm sort of glad i owed lloyds tsb a small fortune so i can never use them again.

We were sorting out our attic the other day, in preparation of a free insulation visit, (its filthy and full of cobwebs, but the kids love her) we found an old lloyds credit card statement, i broke out into a cold sweat.
It was a sobering reminder of the trouble we were in.

Give me 10 more years foggy, i'm getting there.

For most of the reasons already mentioned, bankruptcy was not an option, we looked into a dmp, which would have taken 16 years with no guarantee that the creditors would go easy on us.
Without a doubt, iva was the best thing we ever did.

We wont have that luxury i'm afraid, thanks to the housing policy around here they will all probably be living with us until the grandchild starts university.

Hello me old iva'ers, bored to tears with the telly, and, as I haven't posted for a while, I thought I would share some news.
The Torch dynasty is expanding, our eldest is expecting her very own torchlette in July.

My final milestone is due in May, 6 years will have passed and hopefully my credit report should be cleaner than a bishop's joke book.

Talking of keyboards, cracking trick we played on the commercial apprentice in our office, we swapped some of his letter keys over, wonderful to watch as he was trying to type a letter.

40,000 eh? thats a coincidence, those are the odds my local william hill is offering for Wales to qualify for the next football world cup, (the one with the correct shaped ball)
