went to my bank today and was informed that if you have entered into BR or an iva you had zero chance of getting a mortgage. they asked us who was the debt with and was basically said i know they have the same policy. also if i leave it much longer age will be against me.

Do i want to open a can of worms maybe yes. why cant there be a company out there where we can take an iva company or adviser to claim back fees ? My reasoning is after 5 years you clear your debt wait another year and it drops off but will stay with you for the rest of your life. ok i hear you say ...

It seems that more companies are happy to take your money monthly hassle you for every penny but once complete they don't want to know you and will just do what they want. I have a feeling that it needs some serious regulating.

I cant give any advice but i really feel for you. This is a a disgrace but i thought once you went into a IVA it was covered by a court of law.Anybody who had some common sense can see that you have done nothing wrong. Get a solicitor and take it all the way and good luck.

Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. I have checked the insolvency register and we are still on there. so took your advise and emailed our ip as yet stil waiting for a reply. in 11 days we have been waiting 9 months. again thank you for taking the time to reply.
