Thanks Breezy and Lifenoteasy - we had talked about doing a formal tenancy contract anyway as part of the "what if..." scenarios and we agreed that a joint account wouldn't be needed if we agreed on a set amount per month for rent and bills, so this is handy to know!

I waited until I got the phone call to say the IVA was approved at the meeting, before going and cancelling my direct debits. Otherwise you're paying double and it's not chipping off the debt total.

I got the call yesterday to say my IVA was approved with minor modifications - the relief honestly felt amazing! I feel ready for the next couple of years.

What did everyone do to celebrate? I was at a friend's house having tea! :D
