All well and good. But I wonder what they are insinuating by asking? There should be no reason for this continued belief that somehow we are still liable to either criminal action or mismanagement of our funds. lol I am not interested in gaining Insurance if this is the way they play it. :)

All good. Now just for the information to clear off the Insolvency Register and your credit file to be updated. Another 3 months for that at least. But well done.

Well, I did receive the completion letter within a week of the final 6 month period. I have now only about 3 weeks till it clears off the Insolvency Register. I have received about half of the letters from the agencies advising that the money has now been written off from the original debt. So nearl...

Hi, it's a couple of weeks off the 6 months deadline for Creditfix to send me the completion letter 6 months after I made the final payments. I've decided that I will complain if it is not received by that date. I have called them and asked them when would I will receive it, they basically state the...

Here I am nearly 6 months after I finished my final payment, and I am waiting for the completion letter still. There are 15 days off the 6 months mark. What annoys me about this is this is that the Insolvency register will still probably show me as having an IVA a further 3 months, then after that i...

Indeed. You are quite correct. Did it really take you six months to receive your CC letter? It did in my case -- but I was with a firm that historically viewed the 6 months admin period at that time as the norm, rather than the maximum period granted. Some firms manage the process in a few weeks, o...

Thanks Foggy! I think I just wanted to share the reality of it with those who are beginning or mid way through the process. And to keep mindful of how we all got there, and what to learn from it. Yes, it's such a relief to enter an IVA, and to complete it and learn from it has been invaluable. But i...

Apologies if this post sounds a bit bitter, but I blame myself for getting into a financial mess in the first place, but I wanted to share my real feelings and get it off my chest so to speak. As good and helpful as the IVA has been, it's also been very stressful too and taught me to be completely c...

I finished mine two months ago, and have still heard nothing off the IVA practitioner that runs my IVA concerning my completion certificate apart from a rude phone call to advise that it can take '6 weeks to 6 months'. I must say one of the most depressing things about the IVA is this final bit, whe...
