I too listened to the budget and heard no mention of anything to do with adverts ceasing or indeed anything commenting on insolvency at all. I suspect nothing will actually change and adverts will continue to be posted?? I am sure an expert will be round soon to give a firm answer on this.

Hi Melanie,
They were like yourself basically, a slapped wrists for applying but could understand where I was coming from and the reasons behind it! He said as long as I had not used the card then it was not a problem and agreed with me on the how irresponsible the lender is!

Just read my last post again, the end of it about the forum made no sense but I am glad you got the general idea Melanie!!! I have edited it to make some sense for others wanting to read this thread!
