its already got beyond that I'm afraid and is now with the financial ombudsman.

I therefore need to know how to go about removing the supervisor via the courts. I am not concerned about the difficulty of the process.

Firstly, forgive my ignorance but I have never been very offay with how credit scoring works. I understand the bits about how long you have lived at your address etc and defaults, but I don't understand what an IVA means to my credit rating. Does the fact that I an in an IVA mean that I have deafaul...

I have copied and pasted the last thing from that thread as this is the gist of it. Re my own situation (thanks for asking by the way) after giving this some serious thought this is what I decided to do. I have found the house I wanted, via a letting agent. Upon receipt of the application forms I re...

Ellie did you mention the IVA up front? We did that and have been declined every time. s No I didn't. I started a thread of my own on this about a week or so ago as I was very unsure what to do myself. Its called Letting Agents and Credit Checks. If you have a look at that it tells you exactly what...

Hi Jojo, I hae recently been accepted to rent a new property and although the letting agency stated that they credit checked applicants the IVA was never mentioned. Make of that what you will, but obviously it worked quite nicely in my favour.

Nice to hear things panned out for you singlemum. It seems common sense has prevailed. I am soooo pleased for you and think that this is the only sensible decision from the landlords point of view. Re my own situation (thanks for asking by the way) after giving this some serious thought this is what...

I can also provide refereneces from pretty much any and every landlord I ...

Hmmmmmm. I must admit this is NOT what I wanted to hear. Private rentals are very few and far between in the area that I am looking for whichh almost certainly means that I will have to go through an agent. I am concerned that this will seriously adversely affect my ability to find a new rented hous...

Hi I am in an IVA and have recently been told I need to move out of my rented house. I did not see this coming at all and thought that I would be able to stay in this property until the completion of my IVA. I now have to find somewhere else to rent and I am very concerned that my IVA will show up o...
