Again, thanks.
Yes my IP is giving me until the end of the month before we go ahead with the BR. I trust him fully and we are working towards hopefully keeping my property.
Should I open a new account now or will that be wiped out in the BR?

Thank you for the kind words. Sometimes I don't care what people think, then others it hit's me like a sledgehammer. I have a mortgage so I am praying we are in neg equity so we can keep it, I couldn't pay the electric bill last month and now they are being quite rude and I'm just not sure about wha...

Yep, am really up and down with it all. Hoped my IVA would help to get things in order, but not the case thanks to many different reasons. I am a pillar of my community and am dreading all the questions as to why my shop has closed. I have been in debt for years and i'm just dragging it out.

Am trying to make this as painless as possible. Have had my business for 10 years and just cannot do it anymore. Too many things to think about whilst trying to wrap it all up

Hi
My IVA is going to be failed at the end of the month and I will be closing my business.
Do utility bills both personal and business get included in BR?
Thanks

Thanks Am meeting him today with a copy of the works schedule. I've managed to trade the whole year with no credit which has had it's tough moments, and then things like this happen that you can't control. I know many other traders whom are up to their o/d limit, and I'm pleased that I'm not in that...

Um, yes, understood. There has been other circumstances, the town in which I trade is currently being completely torn up by the gas company and I have noticed an instant difference in takings. I do have most of the VAT payment in the bank, but due to what is happening in the town I fear I will need ...

Hi I'm self employed and have been in my IVA for 9 months. I am up to date with my payments, BUT, one of my creditors are HMRC for tax and VAT, and due to the current economic climate I am struggling to pay last quaters VAT. I informed my IP and he gave me until Dec 31st to have it all paid. Sadly t...

Hi Andy Have a similar business myself and am now in an IVA. I know how tough it is, if there is anything I can do to answer any questions, however frank please ask. All the advice I would give you without knowing any details, is that if you feel that things are getting to that point then please see...

Hi Gavin I am a sole trader and have just sucessfully managed to get an IVA approved. Being self employed and sorting out an IVA is a very complex process and you really need an expert to help you deal with it and not, shall I say, any of the big companies that bang out hundreds of IVA's every month...

Hi, It's OK that they aren't calling, and if they were to turn up you do not let them in. I doubt very much that they would. Rest assured that you are with good people sorting out your proposal and trust me soon when it's all done and dusted you will be looking at the phone wondering why it doesn't ...

It really is a second chance, I believe we are all allowed mistakes - it's just how you choose to deal with them and if you commit them again!!! I know I am rehabilitated and never want credit again!!!
Sleep is returning, I still have a long way to go, but am resting better

All I can say this morning is thank heavens that's all over, what a day. It has been a tough ride, but as my case proves it can all be possible. All I can say is, if you are self employed (and seeing how many people read my business account post I think there is a lot of you out there) and are havin...
