I need some advice. I have a 70 mile round trip to work each day in my car I have never included my petrol costs in my I/E and it amounts to £10 each day. How do I stand on this? I am struggling with the increase in my IVA payments.

Thanks for the replies everyone. My car is a 2009 fiesta petrol not sure of cc but will check. I know when I travel from peterborough to cambridge it costs £12 each time so Melanie is not far out. Should I keep receipts?

With petrol costs going up and up does any one know what you are allowed to take in to account on your I/E. I travel by car 3/4 times a week which is a 68 mile round trip. Can I add this in my I/E Petrol allowance and if so how do they work it out. My business miles is claimed at 40p a mile but my e...

Thank you all for your help with this. I have completed a new I/E form which is more realistic. I travel to work by car each day 68 miles and costed this at 0.40 per mile. Is this too excessive permile? I travel 4 times a week there.

Do you have to acept what your IP says is your contribution payment when you feel it is leaveing you pennyless. I just dont agree with my new payments following a anual review.
