Hi Ryan, I was wondering if I could just run a quick question by you please? When you say ‘after’ an IVA, is it only possible after it’s been removed from your credit file after 6 years, or if you finish early is it possible to get it with a completion certificate but the IVA still on file? I only a...

<r>Evening,<br/> I’d like to do a budget plan as we have had several changes in circumstances. However, I tend to have a problem with significantly underestimating my average expenses, I’ve tried to find an IVA expense allowance and found a link someone posted on her from mcduffy but that was from 2...

<t>Is it worth my husband and I opening a loqbox account whilst still in our IVA? Is that even allowed?<br/> The minimum you're allowed to put in there a month is £20, then you get it all back at the end of the 12 months.<br/> I'm not sure it would even make a difference to our credit scores with th...

<t>Hello,<br/> I noticed on my annual review paperwork that's several of our creditors have not yet put in their claim form, we're around a year and a half through and most creditors haven't done it. It does say on the letter that creditors will still be able to get contributions if they fill in the...

Thanks for your speedy reply Foggy. I have contacted our case manager just to let her know that we have had no contact from the company they have chosen, just so it doesn't appear that we are being non-compliant and not signing. Thanks again.

<t>I recently completed our first yearly review, and the process wasn't even half as traumatic as I had worked it up in my head to be! Payments have increased and there was money to be owed, be we'd been expecting this due to various changes throughout the year. We had the paperwork to confirm the r...

<r>Hi, <br/> I have just completed my first I&E review, it's looking like (all being well), our payment will be increased due to job changes etc.<br/> I was hoping someone could work out how much the full total I should pay will be, as what I will end up paying with be over 2x the original debt,...

I also had problems convincing half of my creditors that I was actually in an IVA, due to them not having heard anything. It wasn't until I was moved from swift insolvencies to Aperture in the November (iva started July), and our supervisor resent paperwork to creditors due to the confusion, that th...

The full debt was £6753.22, I thought it was odd that the company begged me to find another debt to make it higher, therefore added a water bill I had recieved only a matter of days before, which equalled around £150. Our repayments are only £100 a month, though due to significantly increase, meanin...

<t>I bit the bullet today and told my (wealthy) sister about our IVA, we took our last July for a 6.5k debt. She was beyond horrified we hadn't asked her to be a guarantor on a loan with lower interest, as I'm assuming our full debt would now be about doubled with IP fees and interest? Which we will...
