Hi -
Is the parking ticket debt included in the IVA?
What has your IVA company said apart from the fact they sent the information over - have they phoned them directly to discuss?
It must be really hard for you - a car is a necessity!

Hi! Our IVA was agreed April 30th and we’ve made our first and second payments. I have checked our credit files and it’s showing that Lloyd’s (my main creditor with a 24k loan and 1k overdraft) is still green. It’s not showing that payments were made in May or June, however it’s also not showing a l...

I’m so so so so happy and relieved and looking forward to working towards a debt free future!
McCambridge Duffy have been handling our case and they have been absolutely amazing every step of the way.
So positive right now!

Hi! We are in our first month of our IVA. Once we decided to go ahead with an IVA we stopped paying the creditors. We rang them all explained what was happening. Most of them put our accounts on hold for 30 days. This gave us a contingency fund which we have already had to dip in to (car repairs et...

As soon as my IVA was at the drafting stage I wrote letters to all of the people I owed money making them a token payment based on percentage of how much I owed them vs what I had left over each month after my budget, advising I would pay by standing order. Then I set up all the payments, apart fro...

I, too, was one who had never missed a payment until I decided on the IVA. I then stopped paying anyone and saved a modest contingency fund (which was needed!). If you stop the payments, keep the money aside, then, if (IF) the IVA is rejected you can play catch up if needed. Thank you! Its nice to ...

Hi there, What advice did your IP company give you whilst in the process? They should be offering you the best way to go forward in the meantime. I initially went to the citizens advice bureau before approaching the IP company, who told me to offer a token payment of £1 to each company with a cover...
