Nope tried my current bank, they don't want to know. Mind you, now that they have merged with Lloyds am not sure what is going to happen.
Oh yes, and yes I should really keep my business money seperate from my personal money.

At the end of a IVA, am I supposed to get some sort of certificate or something. The IP didn't even tell me that it was finished, I had to tell them and that it was tough if they thought they were going to get any more money out of me. They tried to say at first that there was a delay because not ev...

I have no property, and don't expect now to ever want to get one, well I am 57 now, so doubt if a mortgage company would touch me. Nor do I have any life insurance policies. As far as I am concerned, once I am dead burn me, and stick the ashes where they like, I wont need this mortal body anymore, I...

One question which I could not get an answer from the IP that I am with is that if I re-married, I have been widowed for just over 8 years now, and I should die before my IVA concluded, would my now new wife so to speak, who had nothing to do with the original debt be chased or liable for the rest o...

Another tactic I adopted with one annoying creditor was to inform them that they no longer had my permission to ring my number. You see legally, they have to have your permission to ring you. Under the telecoms act, if you withdraw your permission, they are then breaking the law themselves. So when ...

I had simular problems with MBNA, they kept on telephoning me. The way I dealt with it was by refusing to confirm my name and address, pointing out that they can say who the hell they are and that I have no way of confirming it. So if they want to contact me, to write to me. I then gave them my IPs ...

For me, I am with DFD, it has been nothing but trouble. DFD do not answer letters, are as much help as a chocolate fire guard. They loose paperwork, and then put the blame on me saying I hadn't sent it in. To cap it all they are now saying that they might extend my period of repayments. I have faxed...

You will get that. I am nearly at the end of my IVA and I still get letters saying that my debt has been purchased by another agency. I just send the letters to my IP. Let them deal with them, after all that is what they are there for.

When I got mu IVA, DFD told me to sent the letters to them. So you might send your letters to your IP.
Yes it is great when the letters stop.

I came across a letter from DFD which was in July 2007, saying that 4 creditors had not made a final claim, yet the letter received yesterday said that 5 hadn't. So in th eletter I faxed and posted to DFD I raised that point and asked them what was the truth. I als told them that they were to write ...

The redundancy will be compulsary, and in fact comes into force on 30th March. According to me, my last payment for my IVA is 2nd April!
So it is interesting to know what I should say or do? I have not been wit the firm long, so will not get much in money.
