I had a student loan in my IVA. I was a part-time student so my student loan was for fees only which got paid directly to my collegege, I didn’t get any maintenance loans etc, not sure if that makes any difference or not!

Mine was finished at the beginning of October - slightly different circumstances as my creditors accepted funds already paid to date to end the IVA. My IP has quoted 3-6 months as the timescales for a completion certificate to me and said they have ‘up to’ 6 months. Who was your IVA with?

I didn’t have life insurance for the entire time of my IVA (only finished earlier this month) and wasn’t asked to take it out although I do not know the ins and outs on reasons you may be asked to take it. It’s probably not a bad thing to have though if they account for it within your payments.
