I have just forwarded all my information to my IP with regard to drafting my IVA, do I need to write to my various creditors informing them that I am stopping payments with immediate effect and they should now only contact my IP ? ?

I have a van on an HP agreement. if I stop making the repayments are the finance company able to come and repocess the vehicle. I desperatley need this vehicle for work and cannot lose it.
