Hi, I have the same query, I am in an IVA since the start of this month. But genuinly missed a debt for £1500. I gave my IVA company details of this debt at the start, but missed the fact that they hadn't put it on my IVA. There is no minimum dividend clause in my agreement, and the total debt was f...

Hia,
Just an idea, feel free to lecture me if I am wrong, but couldn't you wait until HSBC have passed/sold your debt onto a Debt Collection Agency. Would they take less than 40p/£.

Hi.
Lloyds are very receptive towards IVA's. They accepted my proposal with a return of 26p in the £. I owed them around £18000 too.

Hi, Yes it will affect you, however, if you fail the credit search because of the IVA, many estate agents offer a guarentor facility. If you have relatives that will agree to stand in if you can't afford the rent then the credit search will not be an issue. I failed mine due to poor credit rating My...

Hia, I wholeheartedly agree with you, but my girlfriend does spend alot of time with her parents, her mum is unwell and as such she spends a couple of nights a week at theirs. She's kept all her post going there too and nothing has been registered at our address. So, at least for the first year, we'...

Hi all. My IVA just got approved today - thanks go to Lloyds TSB for getting their vote in or Swift Credit Services would have made it a rejection. Am so relieved it's unreal. I have been living under debt's shadow for far too long and it's a comforting thought that by the time I'm 32, I'll be debt ...

I know, I shouldn't count my chickens too soon. I am just trying to find some way to relieve the stress. As I said earlier, am finding things really hard - constantly tired, fed up of feeling sick every time the phone rings or I get post. GT not very good at communicating either - trying to get any ...

Sorry, just to also say, as far as I can see, on the list of Unsecured Creditors on my IVA proposal, Lloyds TSB credit card and Loan is all coming from the same address, though granted different account numbers. This suggests to me that Lloyds agreeing to my IVA means all aspects of my Lloyds debt. ...

So, would I be right in saying that GT now have to wait the 14 days, even if Lloyds "YES" vote comes in before the 14 days are up, or can they close it early so to speak.. Just extremely tired now, having dug myself out of debt 6 years ago, and now thanks to my ex, am firmly back into it and want it...

Sadly no, it's not been approved. Lloyds didn't get their paperwork to Grant Thornton on time, but GT phoned them on Friday and had a verbal confirmation that they had accepted my proposal. Unfortuntely GT have had to postpone for 14 days in order for Lloyds paperwork to arrive. So am still stressed...

Hia. My creditors meeting was on Friday 4th January. Everyone was submitting Postal Votes. Swift Credit refused my IVA proposal, but thankfully, Lloyds TSB - my biggest creditor approved it. No-one else has voted so far. So keeping my fingers crossed that no-one else does. As it stands, it should be...
