We did tell the truth but was just asking the question as it doesn't show the IVA on my credit file. So if I was able to go straight to the bank wouldn't have to pay a broker to do it for me. Saving money
Thanks for your assistance

If it's not showing on the credit file then I don't have to claim it do I?. As it says the IVA stays on your record for 6 years from when you enter it. Ours was 9 years so 3 years over and the question was in the last 6 years. The credit file is what the lender will look at isn't it? Is this correct...

We recently went to our mortgage supplier to ask to borrow extra money for renovations to our house. Of ...

Hi we have finished our IVA , received our certificate and finally been taken off the list 🙌 (9 years in total). We are wanting to either remortgage to do essential things in and around the house. Or if it is not much difference to look at selling and buying a new house. We have started building our...

Hi I'm just about to finish my IVA in September after a total of 6 years. We didn't have to release our equity in our house in our final year. Just carried on paying our instalments. Once we have made our final payment what are the chances of being able to remortgage for home improvement or even to ...

Thanks for the reply. We had just finished our iva. Well was asked to take a secured loan but decided to against it due to the amount it would cost us. We asked for a extra year instead will this still go ahead with the new company. Thanks

Hi
I'm with debt free direct and just been told they have gone into administration. I rang them to try and get some answers but wouldn't give me any. Has anyone heard this and where does it leave me with all money I have paid to them
Thanks
