Update to situation here, IP has presented report to creditors and outcome from creditors meeting is a failing of the iva meaning that the creditors can now pursue my mum individually. A couple of creditors have written recently, one serving a default notice. Any suggestions on how to proceed here? ...

Thanks for the responses. Presumably these are a reputable firm of IP's ? I guess one of the problems lies in that they, and other companies, do their role to the bare minimum using junior staff and proforma templates and its only when the technical experts get involved, usually when things have gon...

This is all far more complex than I first believed. The IP is TONY FREEMAN & COMPANY, not a local company to my mum who lives in Norwich - I believe my dad chose this company based on a newspaper ad ! Their iva did involve a single monthly payment based on their joint income and expenditure analysis...

I'm trying to get to the bottom of my mum's debt problems principally caused by my overpowering dad. In short she and my dad took out an iva in 2006 to cover c.£220k of debt over 31 creditors.
