Hi,

It is a basic account but can still be used in stores etc. Just a pain when you want to draw out money and are restricted at cashpoints.

Step account does not exist anymore. Anyone who had that account (me) was downgraded to a basic account card only which allows you to withdraw from Natwest/RBS and Post Office Counters only which is not very helpful.

Thank god I have now got a proper current account again with Halifax.

Hi Skippy, Possibly so I will have to delve deeper in to this. Even so did not think they would still be able to hold it against you after all cleared. After all surely shown now you are a better risk with managing your debt and learning a very valuable lesson. Just annoying that back in the BLACK a...

I have applied for a Halifax account so will let you know how I get on [:)]

Just been having a look in from time to time on the forum and it really amazes me reading some of these posts especially ones like this. You have all been given a massive second chance to clear at least some of your debt and it seems that alot of people see it as an opportunity to try and avoid payi...

Good to be back working in London and to earn some decent money so you never know. Just thought I would let you all know and will keep yo...
