That is dreadful advice, but apart from that are you happy with the IVA or do you feel that you wish to challenge the advice you were originally given and - if so - what alternative route do you feel would be better to pursue? we are very unhappy with the advise and very disappointed by the company...

Pixie is correct in that a creditors meeting can be ajourned for up to two weeks to enable you to fully consider the implications of any creditor modifications. Hello
We are almost a year in to our IVA and are very unhappy with the company, especially regarding misinformation, e.g being told that any council tax arrears cannot be included in an IVA amongst others
is it possible to change companies>?

hello
just to add my own query to the above, I am in 1st year of IVA have a 4th year equity clause and want to move abroad, can i sell my house, there will be zero equity left if I sell house now after secured loans are paid

We have an IVA with approx £33000 left to pay, on top of this we have 2 secured loans totalling £40000. equity in our property is 34000. We wish to sell our house and pay off as much of the secured loans as possible. Can we do this or must we pay off the IVA from the house sale?
