Hi Debbie, I am with you in reality of the spirit here... My files were moved for the second time with my IP and the last that happened, was he merged with Synergi! ... Everything I have been told and read on here seems to be a light touch to the Synergi experience... add all complaints together an...

Good evening everyone I have been on the forum before, so will briefly outline our problem. We have an IVA with Synergi, our supervisor was Karen Potts who has now left and we have been appointed 2 new supervisors, a Ms Sue Watts and a Mr Gordon Saker. We had some difficulty nearly two years ago wi...

Hi Debbie.sl Im sorry to hear you have had such an awful nightmare with your IVA! I would seriously recommend you look at using Ian or Melanie to try and sort out your IVA problem! Using an unknown firm you could be looking at "jumping out the frying pan into the fire" As Melanie says, its not impos...

Hi Debbie just a quick question. Why are you spending time with an unknown quantity like Varden Nuttall. I am sure they do a great job but you absolutely have to get the right relationship. There are 2 IP's that post on the forum that have - by all accounts - extremely good reputations ( Melanie & ...

If you feel that there is no way forward with Synergi, and the IVA is bound to fail, coupled with the fact that you really want to try an IVA over bankruptcy proceedings, I would personally represent with an IP who is going to look after both yours and the creditors interests in a better manner. Fr...

When my IVA looked to be failing last year (which indeed it technically did ... but a planned fail) ... I wont bore you with the details but 'our' plan of action (which was akin to Reviva's advice of "putting ones duck in a row") was to set up a new IP (which I did) to actively miss my IVA payments...

Debbie Have you considered whether you would be better off getting rid of this IVA (and the firm who have represented you) and starting again. Please remind me how much you were paying each month to the IVA and what level of debt you are carrying. Hi Melanie £490 per month...level of debt is £85,00...

Just noticed your reply Debbie. I can't really apply my mind to it until Monday but I'm intrigued by Evershed's response.
That OK?

debbie i am so sorry to read your posts as i too had a terrible time with synergi, i did complain to the regulatory body but they found in their favour, i really do think you should complain about the way they have treated you, regarding your household expenditure to be rearranged to suit creditors...

I must confess I wondered whether you were referring to Paul Gordon-Saker, who is a rather prominent City of London Lawyer. I worry deeply when people tell me about excluded creditors. Every one is a potential loose cannon with the scope for unravelling an IVA. However, on a positive note at this p...

Wouldn't do you any harm, if you can spare the time, and at least you can meet your new Supervisor on a face to face basis. I am sure they will be delighted to receive you, and you can try and put this to bed once and for all before deciding whether to make a complaint. Hi Melanie We received an em...

Definately grounds for a complaint to the regulatory body if you can prove that you were advised to deliberately leave out creditor claims. There have been far too many complaints about this particular firm on the forum over the last year or so, and this has to stop. Hi Melanie Thanks, something to...

It is not strange to have to supervisors - merely strange to have one of them practising with a top City law practice!
Thank you for that Melanie
