Hi All, I wont go into too much detail and I wont start making accusations but obviously this thread is a bit one sided due to the complainant starting it. I am pleased to confirm that we (123) have refunded the payment in full to the client late last week. With over 6 years experience, here at 123 ...

More like a company with a bad programmer.. lol.
A 5 minute free call with a qualified advisor will be fine. Don't think an IP would spare 30 mins for a frontline call. Although Melanie probably would... :)

As long as you are offering more than 1% of the debt you should be fine for a DM. Eg : £10k debt £100pm. You should speak to a DM advisor about your circumstances. They will assess your viability and offer you the best practice solution.

You can get pre-paid credit cards. These are VISA and are recognised worldwide.
You can also in most cases have a debit card.
Hope this helps.

It can be reproposed. What has your IP said? What was the offer made? What is the proportion of debt to that creditor? Who is the creditor?
Don't lose hope, it isn't over yet.

Cost of living is calculated based on each individuals circumstances and providing you justify the increased expenses and have made every effort to curb that expense then you can justify the required additional expense then you will be ok. You need to speak to your IP if you are already in an IVA an...

Spot on Viki, don't know why I didn't think of that. This is very likely as there are some unscrupulous companies out there trying to capitalise on the public register. Joanne it is a very bad idea to stop paying contributions into your IVA, especially as you are 18 mths into it and you can see the ...

Do you qualify for an IVA? Have you spoken to someone, it is likely that an IVA will not be the most suitable solution to your circumstances. Have you considered DM or bankruptcy? Can you tell us some more about your circumstances?

Hi Joanne, Welcome.

I am curious.. Why do you feel you were mislead? Do you not feel the money paid over the last 18mths was beneficial? Have you consulted the company and indeed your IP?

Hi G.ss, welcome.
No, your house is not at risk.. Only if you fail the IVA can your property be at risk, but even then equity remains a factor amongst other things. Your selected IP should put your mind at ease.

My advice is don't pay any upfront fees. There are plenty of companies that don't charge any upfront fees and they will do all they can to help you and steer you in the right direction. After all the whole reason you are looking to go down the IVA route is cos you can't meet your contractual obligat...

Hi Shelley This may not be as straight forward as you think, as a gifted property could be taken into account within the IVA. I would need more info on the proposed property transfer. E.g. Value? How it is to be transferred? One other question is could this transfer wait until the IVA is complete? T...

There are various IVA companies out there, you should consult a few companies and see who you feel most comfortable with. I'll leave it to those currently in an IVA to recommend but I would advise reading some other posts on the forum as there is plenty of glowing reports on various IVA companies.. ...
