They have now wrote me a letter asking for most recent wage slips and bank statements.

Ive seriously been thinking of BR...to save all the hassle.
How will it affect my career?
Will I be able to keep my house? I have mortgage.
or is it best to see the IVA through?

i'm with DFD and found they were great origionally...now, I find them alot less helpful. I wish i had went with a smaller company or an independant IP cause then the process would be alot more personal...I can never get to speak to the same person twice at DFD!

Are you saying that they are going to fail the first IVA and represent a second one? Make sure that this is properly explained within the second proposal, and the reasons why this is being done are well documented by your IP. How embarrassing for them to have to do! Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolven...

I'm with debt free direct (DFD). I definately haven't missed any other payments...the reason for increasing my payments and extending the term of the IVA was so they could recover the arrears and cover the cost of the variation meeting. I have contacted them and they have apologised for not liasing ...

Thank you to Debbie, jpj and andydavie for taking the time to reply, i really appreciate it. YES I am sure as I can be that an IVA is right for me. I didn't just decide on a whim to do an IVA! thank you for your replies and I apologise for not stating the facts clearer. Yes I was aware the IVA had been accepted but I was never informed of a start date. I had returned all my bank details as the company requested but the payments never left my account. 4 months passed by and I became concer...

At the begining of my iva i missed some payments (as i was not told that the iva had commenced) and consequently i am in arrears. I increased my payments and agreed to increase the tern of the iva by another year. That was 6 months ago. Now they are telling me i am in breach of the iva as i am in ar...
