I have taken advice and in my circumstances and as the IVA is closed the IP has no authority and I have filed the letter in the bin. If they harass me again I will be taking action. I appreciate other peoples circumstances are different and whilst this forum is very useful I would advise proper advi...

If you are thinking of simply rolling over please have a good ...

Foggy,
Have to received a letter from FDM?
Can you recall the name of the company who carried out PPI checks on GT/Apertures behalf around 2013/14. All I recall is their envelopes had big colourful spots on?

If memory serves at the time Aperture were recommending Sprout as there was an indirect connection but I am not sure what the current relationship is. So the loan was in lieu of equity release and I believe Sprout contacted Aperture direct for a consent to variation which they gave within a day or s...

Mine started in 2011 so probably same wording. They will work it out the worst possible way and I challenged this and lost. I believe they will ask for two valuations and use the average but get more done and simply provide the two valuations that are most beneficial to you. They will also need to t...

Hi The fees matter because that is money that should be paid to the creditors and for those in an IVA that will reduce the overall amount owed and perhaps reduce the term. For those of us who have completed their IVA my understanding is that unless the debt has been repaid in full they can pursue an...

Foggy If you are genuine then please offer constructive advice on how to deal with this. So far it appears that the advice you have given is to simply sign an outrageous agreement allowing them to have full access to my finances and make any claim they want in my name and charge what fees they like.

The point is basically that the IP has appointed a company that will make claims on my behalf for money that are I know am not entitled to and my opinion that this is fraudulent as I have never had PPI or being mis-sold a financial product.. They will attempt to force me and others in the same posit...

Please look at my thread `Coerced into making PPI claim' I am in the same position as you and having scrutinised the small print from FDM I am absolutely outraged and I can't even see what fees they charge. I will be making a complaint which I will follow through with the Ombudsman. My advice is to ...

You make reference to having an £8,000 claim in mis-sold PPI. You could have found that yourself, it is not difficult. In this example Apertures previous agent Slater, Hayward and Law would have deducted at least 41% or £3,280 for basically doing nothing more than sending out a few letters. Great fo...

Thanks for the replies and I understand that any subsequent legitimate claims should be paid to the creditors and I completed and signed a letter agreeing to this half way through the IVA. I knew I never had any PPI but checked twice even before entering the IVA. During my IVA Aperture forced me to ...
