I completed my IVA end of 2016 with a full and final offer. But it didn't drop off my file until July when I hit the magic 6 years. Fast forward 1 month and we have exchanged on a dream home and are due to move in by the end of the month. The challenge for me was improving my credit score which I've...

I would contact Ryan at Zebra sooner, rather than later, which will give you time to get your ducks in a row. My credit score improved once I had other "High Street" credit cards, other than the Vanquis, which had to wait until the IVA dropped off. I did speak to them previously and was told to cal...

oh right ok, but should it still be showing as active? It was registered before the IVA was approved.

The debt was not against my property, as I don't have one! It was unsecured credit.

Thanks

Thanks. I have checked my credit file and I have a CCJ showing as active. This debt was included in my IVA. But this is where it gets confusing, the creditor relating to the CCJ never got back to PayPlan to claim anything! But the debt was included in my IVA and they are bound by the terms of it. So...

Generally Pay Plan have been good up until I made my Full & Final offer. Since then I've just been fobbed off and it's been delay after delay! Hopefully it's getting sorted now.

I've now had a call and emails from the complaints team at Pay Plan and I'm now hopeful things will get done. I must say the guy who called me - Adam from the complaints side of things has been very helpful today and he is making sure I have my Completion Certificate by the end of the month, if not ...

I've called them again and my case officer still hasn't replied. They wouldn't put me through to IP or accounts. They said neither speak to clients. Again tried to palm me off saying finalising account can take some time and can be done sooner or longer than 12 weeks and that the 12 weeks is just a ...

I've emailed my case officer but also filled in their contact form online as my case officer usually takes about 2 weeks to reply! I stated I'd like to log an official complaint and that I will be logging a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Thats worrying! Could that affect my IVA closure? The thought crossed my mind today as the telephone number on the bottom of their emails no longer works! I've already signed the PPI deed. There isn't anything more due anyhow. I will email saying I want to complain, any suggestions on wording? Thanks

Yeah thanks, I've done lots of googling and searching on here. I actually went into a Metro Bank today and opened one, well it hasn't been confirmed yet but sounds promising. I pre warned them I had bad credit history without mentioning the IVA but to my surprise my Credit Check passed! I've signed ...

Oh and from the time I sent my offer letter (noting that any future payments would be deducted from the offer amount) they took ages. Offer letter sent March, Creditors Meeting was eventually organised in August and accepted and paid. It's now November and I'm still waiting for it to be completed! I...
