Hi Thanks everyone for your help, i've just read my post and realised i said it incorrectly, our full and final offer was accepted and so it looks like we've completed our iva which is such a relief, the cloud bit is that i'm now redundant but there is a possibility of a role, i just need to pass SC...

Hi my IVA was approved last week as I am being made redundant. My query is my employment background is commercial. Most roles available require SC clearance. Will my IVA affect SC clearance. What check does SC clearance require.
Please let us know.

Just got off the phone to GT, TIX won't negotiate at all and are aware that they have the majority vote, we've agreed to the £40 additional as our only other option is BR and if that happens, I'll lose my job as well as house! We're under no illusions, it will be very tough but we wil have to do it....

Just to give you all an update, a "manager" at GT is currently awaiting for a call back from the manager of the team at TIX, hopefully we shall hear tomorrow if they've reconsidered but the advice from Gt was very much that it will be unlikely. I thought perhaps our actual IP might get involved but ...

Hi Chased GT again for most of the day, got an answer back after 5pm today to say that TIX are refusing to accept any less than the additional £40 and feel that actually we can reduce our food/housekeeping by at least £60, so they're being "generous". They have said an outright "no", so we'll have t...

Hi Had our creditors meeting yesterday 3:30 and GThornton were handling our IVA. They advised that 70% votes approved the IVA but the majority vote held by the insolvency exchange faxed through a modification. The modification they requested was we pay an extra £40 per month. I know when we original...

who knows - we haven't had a great time so far, what with the delay then the calculation for the proposal being wrong (found out when we questioned it). We've just got our fingers crossed for next week and hopefully their expertise will help for the meeting.
