I have received a copy from my iva provider that states they have no interest in my PPI claim from m&s and that it can be paid to me directly. I understand that this means the money is mine and does not have to be paid into my iva is my understanding correct?

When a creditor refunds ppi who should they send it to? Are they allowed to set it off only against what they are owed or should they forward it to the iva company?

Ppi claims total more than balance owed.

If the ppi claim is more than the iva total owed who gets the surplus?

E.g. owed 30000, paid 20000 plus fees ppi claim 15000 there is a possible 5000 surplus who gets this?

I suspect my iva provider paid a commission to the creditor that referred me to them, does the happen and should the payment have gone towards what was owed to that creditor?

My via provider does not deal with ppi claims how do I go about making them?
