We have a review every 6 months, our payment was supposed to be £323.00 every month but they incresed it after our 1st review as we wasnt paying enough in each month, they worked out that we owed them about £500, so it was divided over 10 months and thy have carried on taking that amount every month...

Ive just had my 1st 6 month review of our second year, i checked the expenditure form to sign off any changes. I have been puzzled for some time why my expenditure looks so good on paper and in actual fact im skint every month. My payments are £378.96 each month into the iva and my disposable income...

We were told to stop any payments including creditors, you cant favour anyone! You fees are built into the IVA and are payable at the end< you should not pay any thing yet! Who are you dealing with?

Anything owed before the iva can be included in to your IVA but anything you owe after this is your responsibilty! ( i think)

Im not an expert but i think its ok if it doesnt affect your IVA(ie-getting into debt and not being able to pay it back)

Hi,
My IVA went through fairly quickly, had to send all relevant docs off, they told us exactly what to do, we were put straight on to a new bank and the creditors meeting was within 1 month. you shouldnt need to wait that long.

Wondered if anyone knows what IPA stands for, my husband used to get a bonus and it would say bonus on the payslip, however now he gets what is called an IPA, as this has changed on the payslip we wondered if anyone knew what it meant and if it would be reconised as extra income. my husband recieves...

Hi, im new but ive benn in an IVA for 2 years now and we pay a fixed monthly payment every month, mine and my husbands wages vary every month and our IP takes an extra 50% off our monthly income every month over a certain amount, I dont know whether this should be right or not.
