Hi The farepak saga is a sad one, in my trade we saw a large number of our clients loose fairly large sums of money. One had 6 kids and no money for Christmas. They knowingly took monies they knew they could not repay. (Cash payment taken day before!)Think there is a huge differnce with most people ...

HI Sadly the Tax credits only pay for one baby and not the multiples although you will get Child benefit at £10.75 each child (as there is already a child receiving the higher rate) Found this site you may find it of use. http://tamba.org.uk/faqs-and-research.php All the best with the Double Trouble...

That they would. People do not know just how reliant the CAB are on Volunteers time. I do know that the DWP have started 'Now lets talk Money' campaign. They hope to be able to offer further debt advice through CAB and other organisations. Here is the link to the site. http://nowletstalkmoney.com KR...

Hi Please do not worry. As Jane.i said the CAB really are helpful and remember they do deal with these forms on a regular basis. Might be worth writing the answers on a blank sheet of paper in case you make mistakes, show this to the CAB and you can then complete your form. Good luck KR, Lenalena ht...

Hi ascn, Blair oliver & Scott (BOS) are the in house debt collection department for HBOS! As Catullus says worry not and pass it on to your IP next week. Remember debt collectors are very unlikely to call and if they did they can not gain entry. Your IVA is a legally binding contract. Enjoy the brea...

Hi Adam Your loan with Cahoot you say was a fixed 7.9% rate? please re check your credit agreement (CCA) as i find it strange that they are able to change the rate if it is fixed? (Please note they may be able to do this if you have exceeded the loan term.) I deal with CCA on a daily basis so please...

Hi There is currently a test case in progress with 7/8 of the major high street banks and the Office of Fair trading. This is to see if bank charges are legal or not. I would not expext to hear the outcome until late this year and its more likely to be next year. Currently it would be harder to get ...

Hi I have looked in to HFO and as they do not appear to hold a CCA agreement they can not enforce a debt. I would write to them demanding a copy of their compliants policy and their CCA license number. Do not let them get away with harasment and if you are in an IVA send it all to your Insolvency Pr...
