Hi all Have realised what has happened. The address we defaulted in was not showing on the record so I updated it and the IVA is now showing today as settled on the 8.9.2009. Funny enough neither of us are showing on the insolvency registar. Now the hard job of trying to get a mortgage. We earn abou...

Hi I have wrote off to both Experian and Equifax and paid the £2 for our reports and we are still waiting for them but signed up for the free trial online in the meantime. I have just had a look and there isn't a section on the report called Court Information. They have search information which just...

Hi It is 3 years now since my hubby and I did a full & final iva. We are considering trying to apply for a mortgage. We have paid to look at our credit reports online with Experian, giving out last adressess for 6 years and there is nothing on there about our IVA. All that is showing is some searche...

Hi I don't know if anyone can advise me here but you all seem very knowledgable [:)] so here goes. Myself and husband did a full and final IVA 3 years ago in September. So from September 2007 the F&F was agreed, creditors paid and we owed nothing to anybody else. We had sold our home (we didn't defa...

Hi couple31 Welcome to the forum. I found this forum a godsend to help me through the months leading up to our iva hearing. The advice is good and the people are great. Everyone is in the same boat so understands how you feel. To answer your last question, we stopped paying our creditors in June, ha...

Good luck Churchill. We have recently been approved for a F&F for 25p/£ and were really worried as the large majority of my husband's debt was to MBNA who we thought would not approve. Haven't had all the details yet so don't know if they did approve or just didn't bother to vote. Main thing is both...

Hi all Just to let you know I have just had the call from my IP and our F&F has been approved. I can't put into words how relieved I feel and am sitting here typing this with tears rolling down my face. I am cracking open the champagne in a few minutes and only wish I could share it with you all as ...

Thanks jasperyogi. I'll actually be in work until 3.30 - just when the meeting starts. I am a teaching assistant to 3-4 year olds so luckily they keep me very busy with not much time to think so I'll just have the 30 mins or so of the meeting to sit it out and wait. I have a bottle of champagne whic...

Thanks Skint. Really nervous about Friday. Trying to not let it affect my day to day life but can't help thinking about it. We are doing a full and final and if it is not accepted our only other option is bankruptcy but really can't think about that at the moment. I'll post on here as soon as I know...

Hi My husband and myself are waiting for our IVA meeting (this Friday!!) and have been doing our best to keep our creditors informed of what's happening. About a week ago we both received Cap One letters and thought here we go again another demand but instead were really shocked to find they had sen...

Hi Hara

I'm with Mark Allen as well, only from what I've seen I'm not sure if his name goes on all the proposals but it's actually his team that deal with the IVA. We are going straight in for a full and final so I'll let you know if it's successful!
