i managed to get a barclays cash card account even though they were a creditor. I suppose that's the one good thing about an IVA. The creditors can only get what the IP gives them according to the agreement. They'll see all that money going into the account and they can't touch it. Poetic justice [...

This is really unfair. Surely the notice on the credit reference s should be enough. Yes an IVA is not quite as public as bankruptcy but the information can leak out during the agreement. Oops you spotted my spelling error. I meant non-dependents i.e. someone you are related to but not someone you are married to or any child you have care over. An aunt or uncle for example.
