Why did CCCS recommened a Debt Management Programme to you, rather than an IVA? I suppose it depends on how dire your circumstances are. i managed to get a barclays cash card account even though they were a creditor. I suppose that's the one good thing about an IVA. The creditors can only get what the IP gives them according to the agreement. They'll see all that money going into the account and they can't touch it. Poetic justice [...

Oops you spotted my spelling error. I meant non-dependents i.e. someone you are related to but not someone you are married to or any child you have care over. An aunt or uncle for example.
