Hi, I have recently received my completion certificate after an early F&F. I am now unsure of what I need to do next. Do I need to contact my creditors to let them know? Do I need to wait until the five year term is up before I can start applying for credit or can I do it now? I have absolutely no i...

Thanks Melanie, I contacted my supervisor regarding a F&F and they worked out the amount for me. I was confused as one person I spoke to at Synergi said I could cancel my direct debit payments and when the letter arrived stating the F&F figure it told me to carry on making payments as the process co...

Hi,

I have been given a F&F amount by my supervisor and they are in the process of arranging to meet my creditors. They have advised me to carry on making payments for now but will I be able to knock these payments off the balance if it is agreed?

Hi I have a F&F question please. My original debt amount was £31k. I have made 40 payments so far totalling £19k and my last chairmans report noted that I had paid much more into my IVA pot than was anticipated. I currently pay £490 per month and so if I carried on at this level would pay back anoth...

Hi, My experience is the same. I didn't start out with Synergi I was moved to them. Since then they have changed my supervisor twice and now I have joint supervisors for some reason. However so far my IVA has been smooth (40 months in) and they do tend to leave me alone which I prefer.

I also meant to say that I have been onto Melanie's website to e-mail for the guidelines as I see this is what she usually asks people to do but I can't seem to see where the e-mail link is on her website. Sorry if I am being a bit dumb!

Hi, I am 40 months into my IVA with no problems so far. I currently live with parents but am considering moving in with my boyfriend. He earns much more a month than me but has committments each month which consume his salary. Would the IVA look at how much we both earn and work out the % we would b...

I know that I am not allowed to get any form of credit during the period of my iva. Please could you advise whether or not paying for car insurance monthly would be classed as credit or do I have to pay it in one full sum? I know it sounds daft but I would hate to break the terms of my iva over some...
