Work are giving me a gift payment of 3K this will be paid into my salary and will be subject to normal tax deductions ect and will appear on my payslip as a bonus. will this come under the 10% 50/50 rule?or classed as a windfall. Any help appricated thank you

Hi, could someone please tell me reasons why and IVA can be extended. For example if its found that you owe a small amount due overtime, bonus not been paid up to date. Will they extend or give you option to pay whats owed in one amount so IVA can be closed down. Thank you

Thanks for everyones help, sorry if I seemed confused, my work gave us free shares years ago, the comany will float soon, however, we still keep our shares but there giving us a gesture of goodwill payment through our pay. Thats why was not sure if classed as windfall or 50/50 rule.

Hi can someone pls explain in lamon terms the difference between a windfall and a one off payment. If you have to pay tax on the amount you receive is this not classed as a windfall. Thank you

Hi sorry, just want to ensure I am 100% clear. Am I correct in thinking that if I receive a large one off payment from work ie gesture of goodwill, however, this is paid via my payslip and taxed this is not classed as a windfall but would fall into the 50/50 rule?

My IVA is due to complete in October. I am receiving a bonus from work which will be taxed and paid into my salary. Is this classed as a bonus and should be declared. My company have given misinformation in the past and I want an impartial opinion.
