Well, sort of. I gave them 24 hours from the email to ring me back and as they didn't I rang them on the number I gave you. They had the email on the system and then my case worker rang me back in the next hour so it certainly hurried things up a bit. It's better than waiting for Royal mail and then...

Ha ha ha I know exactly what you mean. I have one meal and I'm mentally preparing the next before I've finished! Just got an excellent recipe though that's only 4 points: 1 wholemeal pitta, couple tablespoons of passata, sliced mushrooms topped with lite mozzarella, sprinkle a few mixed med herbs an...

Hi
I'm also with DFD, you can email the Supervisory department on supervisory@debtfreedirect.co.uk and you can get directly through to that department on 0845 2960 150. I have found both of these ways much quicker and you actually get to speak with your caseworker.

Good luck

Good luck with your walk tomorrow, it's an excellent cause.

WW is £4.95 per week now - there's the incentive to get to goal and for for free!

Went to my first meeting with WW on Wednesday, although I knew it, was still shocked!! Anyway the good news is that my shopping bill will go down as I'm gonna have to nearly starve to fit into my Mother of the Groom outfit at the wedding in November!! Hey ho - now where's that chopped carrot. Questi...

I'm sure it was the IP, we were allowed insurance as it was regular monthly outgoing. We were told this was the norm and as we were very green about the whole thing we just accepted it. We put our faith in DFD that they were acting in all our best interests, I don't think that to be the case now esp...

Hi Me & my hubby have been allowed £260 for food and £180 for fuel and bearing in mind we have 5 children between us who are grown up now and don't live with us it's still a struggle because we still want them round for meals and there are still presents to buy at birthdays and christmas. I also hav...

Hi
We weren't allowed anything for pet food or vet bills i.e annual innoculations, only the monthly insurance. In the 3 months running up to the innoculations I put away £15 to cover and had more than enough.

Hi We were allowed basic Sky (£21) our internet (£19) and our phone contracts (2 x £30) we were told that if we wanted to spend more than this on any of these it would have to come out of our food/clothing/contingency budget. So we stuck to these but recently changed to the whole sky package with Sk...

Thank you all so much for your support I wish I'd known about it before I did my IVA. I would still have gone ahead but probably not with DFD. I am going to sit down and take your advice, write everything down and see what happens - surely bankrupty in our case helps no-one. Yes we do have a 4th yea...

Hi Maizie
I would recommend standing orders for your payment, I have my mortgage, council tax and IVA that way because then it's me who has control. If you have internet banking you can make any changes to amounts and dates etc.

Thank you for all your advise. I'm struggling because like most people I was so anxious to get my IVA through I just accepted what Debt Free Direct told me was likely to be accepted and then at the creditors meeting, even though we only have £400 a month to live on, that's for fuel, food etc they sa...

I've completed 1 whole year and coming up to the end of the 2nd in October things are getting tough but everytime I try and explain this I find my supervisors team not very sympathetic. They won't look at varying my contributions and have just told me to keep supermarket & petrol receipts for the ne...
