Hi All, Just another update as requested, Cahoot have finally removed the defaults so I guess that the two letters I sent them threatening with the Financial Ombudsman have done the trick and I have also been accepted for an Aqua credit card with a limit of 100, I use this just for petrol etc and pa...

Hi Again, well Ive checked the official register and my name has completely gone, no IVA or anything so that's a big plus [:D] Now I shall wait for a month or so to see if the defaults also drop off for each of my individual creditors and if not, I think I shall write them a nice letter to request t...

Hi,
Thanks for the advice, I was thinking of waiting until the IVA drops off the register then going from there so that sounds like the best plan.
Roll on the 8th August 2013 [:D]
Will keep you updated as to what and when anything happens
Thanks Again

I have used Hertz a few times during my IVA, I contacted the branch directly where I was hiring from and they accepted my Visa debit card, but it has to be a 'proper' visa debit not an electron type... They just loaded my debit card with the deposit and paid it back once I returned the car, my last ...

I've been with with Payplan since the start of my IVA which was over 4years go and now I'm onto my 11th case officer, I have found them to be ok with my problems that Ive had over the years but they are certainly becoming more mainstream and have lost that personal touch that I experienced with them...

Hi Kazza, Thanks for replying, I recently had a dose of Vertigo which knocked me out for months, spent most of the time in bed. I have now recovered from that and I was sent for a MRI scan which found plaques in my head which, grouped with vertigo are early signs of MS, I am now still waiting furthe...

Hi, Thanks for the prompt reply, my problem is that I am in the very early stages of diagnosis and it could take a few months for the neurologist to confirm my condition, by that time I may be virtually at the end of my IVA. I have no definitive proof of my condition at the moment so I am unable to ...

Its been a while since I've been on here as my IVA has been going ok and I am now into my final year. Recently I had a serious illness where I was off work for five months, during this time I had all sorts of tests, one of which was a head MRI scan.
