hi i am looking bk and was wondering if everyone you owe any money to has to be included in bk as i have a store credit of £500 to a shop owned by a friend and dont want them included,dont really understand how bk works , we only have around £89 left over a month do i have to pay this to anyone? tan...

so what differnce does it make if i file it or my ip does?

i dont know what is the best thing to do? dont really know much about bk !we live in a rented house,still have 1 year left of paying for our car which is worth £3000 who is informed of our bk? do we have to pay any money out? how long does it stay on our credit?

hi i have just heard back from ip and been told that unless i go back to work i cant carry on with iva as i dont have enough money to continue with payments,have i any other choices than br?

ok thanks for all your help and advise, will look into bk a bit more just really worrid about parents finding out as we are only 30 and 26 years old and been helped out before! dont seem to learn our lesson! think we may have some sort of problem with knowing the value of money can we get help with ...

no i have no house only a car on hp which is worth about £3000 ? i thought an iva should reduce your debt by upto 70% but mine work out to still paying around 24,000 could you explain how it works and what sort of payments would i have to make if i went bankrupt?

so is it £500 and thats it or do you have to pay some off your debt back as well, telling our parents is not an option! how does it effect your future ie mortgage ?we dont have one at the moment but do have a car on hp would this be effected?

i dont really know much about bankruptcy,how much it costs is it a one off payment ? im worried about this route as both our parents would be VERY unhappy about this as they know nothing about our situation and we feel we cant tell them as they have helped us out before and warned us to never get in...

i think its works out at about £65 a moth untill we finish of the car repayments next year then it will be about £175?!
