SMR, I dosclosed my £30'000 to Payplan, they are entering myself into a DMP for 6mths to get the creditors on board and then go for an IVA using the Lump sum as a settlement along with a monthly contribution if I can prove I can afford it. So the 6mths is like a test. Re Hiding 30k that's easy cause...

Melanie thanks. But your answer on self certified mortgage is incorrect as you need to state a figure as to your earnings and they don't check, so be placing a figure in the box is committing fraud as I would have to state a figure much higher than I acutally earn to enable a remortgage. This carrie...

wobly. I can answer the question with regards to the remortgage. You will find lenders prepared to allow you to remortgage within an IVA some state proof of a satisfactory 6mth payment history of your IVA some slighly difference. This will also depend on LTV requirement( mortgage v Value of home) an...

Melanie, Yes I have considered that but I have a wife and young children to consider and we only have a 3 bed house and I have met all my secured debts, I am self employed so in a way I can create a disposable income but my accounts will not be able to prove this and in any case accounts are history...
