I have received my completion certificate on 10th Feb (IVA started July 2010) and would like to try and get a better mortgage deal. I'm currently with NRAM but would like to try and take advantage of lower interest rates . How should I go about this?

Hi, I need to set up a business bank account and would welcome any advice. Would it be worth approaching high street providers or should I go straight for the no credit checks accounts with fees?
Many thanks.

Hi, we applied for a charitable grant and got a brand new boiler fitted. It took about 6 weeks, we just had to send them 3 quotes and a basic I&E. It's well worth looking at, if you can bear to be without hot water to that amount of time. We were lucky that it was during the summer! www.charisgrants...

Thanks, I did ask about it when they reduced the payments, but the person I spoke to had no clue what I was talking about! Hopefully I can speak to someone who can help, but it's not always as easy as it should be.
Thanks for the advice [:)]

Thanks Foggy. I'm not sure about how the equity would work out as it is a joint IVA and we have the £5000 deminus clause.
Current mortgage redemption is 92,000 and house could be worth between 130,000-150,000???

Hi I would like some advice about offering a F&F after having our payments reduced. We were paying £210 a month until we had a payment break in November (month 53). From January our payments have been reduced to £160 and we have been told by GT that this will extend our IVA till December. This means...

Hi this is such an appalling way for GT to treat their clients, but sadly not a surprise.
PaoloDiCanio do you have the email address for EIC please. I feel it's time for all GT customers to start putting pressure on them to end this farce.

2 years and nothing for us either. Not how it was portrayed by GT, and has left us feeling ripped off!

Thanks Michael. If we were able to offer a F&F with help from a friend and complete IVA before any compensation is received, would we have to pay anything to our creditors, as we were in IVA at the time of the injury?
