You're right it's support that you need and hiding things away doesn't help in the long run - I don't feel half as bad as I thought I would and having a supportive IP of course has made things bearable. I count myself as one lucky lady

Having read through a few posts can someone clarify that that you CANNOT remortgage remortgage or take out aa secured loan in order to settle the IVA as full and final settlement ?

Can I also ask that should my housing officer agree to a remortgage now , are you permitted permitted to remortgage halfway through the IVA in order to offer offer a full and final settlement ? I am doubtful of finking a lender it's just put of interest at this stage

My question is regarding full and final offer. I am just into 3rd year of IVA and partner wants to help me with full and final offer to end iva. Thanks people. Clear now ! It's just I taught o had reason here that someone had done that and finished it early. Thanks for the clarification. And are you allowed a ssavings account in am IVA - NOT TTHAT HERE WOULD BE MUCH TO SQUIRREL INTO IT!

Hi all I am in year three of my MY IVA.
I DID read that you could increase monthly contributions and finish finish the IVA early. I just wondered how this works if it is at all possible ?
