Where does my credit file clean up? is it 12 months after my last payment or 12 months after receiving my CC?

But my question is;

Should I cancel my direct debit after my last payment? or does it stay active? whats the done thing?

I cant find anything in my documentation regarding a pay rise, only the 10% 50/50 rule on bonuses and the like. I have ask the question about how much of the pay rise I need to pay in.
