Thanks guys. We have really struggled this month and have scrimped around for money and have very little until payday on 31st. We are determined though to work within the budget set out in our IVA and will explore all the above ideas. Great to have support on here.

Hi Our IVA has just been approved and I was thinking of keeping money in our account for our direct debits etc and then putting the proposed amounts of money for our other expenditure in separate envelopes, so say have one for food, one for our car expenses etc. I feel we probably use our debit card...

Hi I am pleased to say our IVA was approved on Monday however when we received the paperwork to sign we noted that only two creditors on each of our lists (my husbands and mine) had voted. Phew x our creditors meeting was actually today and although we had to wait for most of the day the end result was that it was approved by everyone. One creditor wanted the payments to be higher however this was argued and they accepted the original proposed payment. Long journey ahead but at least ...
