I'm not after a quote right now. I wouldnt do that on a forum. I'm only asking for an estimation of how many payslips needed.

I intend to, as i mentioned above.

I am posting here because i thought the experts could hopefully give me an idea before I actually contact one. As I said, we dont go getting our hopes up. I dont see the point of outlaying my situation to them if I dont have enough payslips at that wage.

I received my completion certificate 3 weeks ago. The last payment I made to the IVA was Feb 2012. I've won promotion and possibly in November I'll be on more pay. We have been waiting for both things to happen before seeing a mortgage broker about moving from our one bedroom flat to a two bedroom h...

Thanks everyone, and particularly to 12 months to go. The fact that you've secured a loan soon after is really encouraging.

Thanks but thats all fine. I wasnt asking about getting the IVA off the reports. My IVA started 7 years ago so its dropped off two but one wants the completion certificate before they take it off, so I'll be sending it shortly as I received it yesterday.

I was asking about settled accounts.

One of the credit ref agencies, I cant remember which one, says that I have a negative aspect on my report because I dont have any settled accounts. So who do I go to to get one? My IVA has finally completed and my only interest in my reports is to clear them up so that we can increase the mortgage ...

I just wanted to come on and tell you all that it really is worth pushing for your certificate. Or at least it is with Grant Thornton anyway. I made the final payment Feb 2012 and I was calling them once a month to chase it all up and was getting no where. It wasnt until I joined this forum and saw ...

18 months for me and I'm with GT too. I emailed them, putting IVA forum in the subject line and they've promised to expedite my case. Whether or not they'll come good, only time will tell but the promise is something i've never had before

Hi John, i've been waiting since Feb 2012 and have had a similar experience to you although the reasons i've been given are PPI variations, dividend issues and VAT. I was supposed to be a part of a mass meeting in June but apparently that never happened, so thats now going ahead on 12th August. Have...

Oh and also, they've only sent me forms about creditors from within the IVA but i can think of at least one loan that finished before the IVA started that I could claim PPI on. I get that there's no incentive for me to tell them, i guess. Am i right? Is it a case of more money being repaid to the IV...

I finally got my spotty pack from EIC, 10 months after I told GT that I would let them claim PPI for me. Having read through the letter, it says that I can do it myself, otherwise they'd claim a fee from the refund. So would I go about claiming it myself like I would if i didnt have an IVA, like any...

Well I feel like I'm now going in the right direction. After the 21 day period from the mass variation meeting on 12th Aug, GT say they will expedite my case and will give me regular updates along the way. Hope they stick to their word.

I will, thank you. I'm talking just in general terms at the mo so I understand what you're saying. I wanted to be on the market last autumn after making the final payment in Feb last year. And the thought of potentially having to wait a clear year from closure is upsetting. But as you say, every cas...

Thanks Shaun. I plan to call one of the experts here when my credit reports are all in order. Do you know which lenders are the best to apply to under these circumstances?
